EIKI LCSX2 and LCSX2L - SXGA POWERHOUSE PROJECTORS
3-panel LCD projector puts images up to 3000 ANSI Lumens on screens up to 40' wide,
at 1280 x 1024 pixel resolution.
EIKI announces the second generation of its popular SXGA resolution LCD data/video projector: the LC-SX2. Dubbed SXGA POWERHOUSE TWO, it delivers up to 3000 ANSI Lumens … achieving a new level of brightness for this category of projector.
The LC-SX2?s brightness results from a new 440 Watt DC Metal Halide lamp that outputs more light, combined with the use of a MicroLens Array in front of each LCD panel to pull more light through each pixel, plus other light optimisation techniques.
The resulting dramatic increase in brightness comes without compromise to either lamp performance or image quality. The image is rated at 85% uniformity and a 350:1 contrast ratio, with high COLOR saturation.
The LC-SX2 incorporates leading edge technologies for better imaging, including PanelLinkÔ support for artifact-free Digital Data communications, and enhanced video signal processing with compatibility for 1080i, 720p, and 1035i HDTV standards.
Equipped with a 1:1.29 power zoom and focus lens as original equipment, the LC-SX2 projects images up to 40' / 12.2m wide over distances up to 109' (33.2m). Optional telephoto, midrange and wideangle accessory lenses permit longer and shorter throws.
With a dot clock of 220 MHz, the LC-SX2 is compatible with most workstations. Its native resolution is 1280x1024 pixels, for true SXGA/MAC21 display. Smart compression and expansion provides compatibility with inputs from 1600x1200 to 640x480.
Power lens shift minimises keystoning in both directions, permitting offset ratios as high as 10:0~0:10, and eliminating the need for projector inversion in ceiling installations. Wireless and wired remote control, plus local control and RS-232 control, are standard.
The LC-SX2 is compatible with NTSC, PAL, SECAM, NTSC 4.43, PAL-M and PAL-N COLOR video systems. It accepts composite, S-Video, and component (DVD) video input, and displays both Standard 4:3 and Widescreen 16:9 ratio, with advanced video scaling.
