The
HC900 uses a new Mitsubishi Technology, CineFocus™ this
feature allows users to manually adjust the lens aperture. By having a
large aperture (Iris fully open) the HC900 uses all of it's 1500 lumens
to produce a sharp, bright image even in moderately lite rooms. Closing
the HC900's aperture (Iris closed) reduces the brightness and maximises
the contrast ratio, producing a ratio of 4000:1, this mode is ideal for
use in darker rooms.
