The Sony VPL-EX5 incorporates the latest 0.63" BrightEra™ inorganic LCD panels for superior colour reproduction, high brightness and minimal degradation over time.

Perfect for classrooms, lecture rooms, corporate and at home the VPL-EX5 features 2000 lumens, XGA resolution and 900:1 contrast ratio which is ideal for pin sharp graphics, films and video gaming. It's stylish chassis comes with a built-in 8° tilt angle that helps you to achieve perfectly proportioned image from a desk on to a screen or wall.

Using a short throw lens the VPL-EX5 is able to project large images from a short distances compared to other models in it's class (80" diagonal image from only 2.3m throw distance).

From 15 April to 31 December 2008, end users purchasing the VPL-EX5 projector are entitled to an additional 2 years PrimeSupport cover – (in addition to the standard 3 year cover).
